Affiliate Disclosure

The short version

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra.

What that means in practice

An affiliate link is a tracked link. If you buy through it, the retailer pays me a percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be otherwise.

I’ll always tell you when a post contains affiliate links, at the top of that post — not buried down here.

What I will and won’t recommend

This matters more to me than the commission, so let me be specific.

I only recommend things I would genuinely suggest to someone I know. If the honest answer to “do I need this?” is no, that’s what I’ll write — even in a post where recommending something would pay better.

I’m cautious with supplements. They’re loosely regulated, claims are often unsupported by good evidence, and some interact with prescribed medication. Where I mention one, I’ll be specific about what the evidence does and doesn’t show.

I won’t let a commission shape a clinical claim. If a product doesn’t work, or works only for some people, or has weak evidence behind it, I’ll say so.

I’m a registered nurse. My credibility is worth considerably more to me than any commission, and the moment I trade one for the other, both are gone.

A reminder

A product recommendation is not medical advice. Please check with your own clinician before starting any supplement or health product, particularly if you take prescribed medication.
