Contact

I read everything that arrives, and I reply to most of it.

What I’m glad to hear about

  • A question you wish someone had explained properly. Most of what I write starts as somebody’s question — including yours.
  • Something I’ve got wrong. I’d genuinely rather know. I correct posts and say so.
  • Working together — sponsorships, collaborations, or writing for your publication.
  • Virtual assistant enquiries — if you run a practice and need administrative support from someone who understands the clinical side.

What I can’t do

I can’t give individual medical advice. Not by email, not in comments, not in messages.

I’m a registered mental health nurse, but I don’t know your history, your medications or your circumstances — and without those, any specific advice I gave you would be unsafe. If you ask me something individual, I’ll answer the general version and point you toward your own clinician.

That boundary is what makes everything else I write trustworthy.

If you’re in crisis, please don’t email me. I’m not able to monitor this inbox around the clock. Contact your local emergency number, go to your nearest emergency department, or reach a crisis line in your country. Please do that now rather than waiting for a reply.

Response time: usually within a few days. I work clinical shifts, so it’s sometimes longer.
